Wedding!!!!

My DH's oldest nephew will be getting married July 19 in Tahoe and I can't wait. Clint is such a great guy, always so polite and fun to be around. We don't get to see him much, but when we do we always have a great time. I had such a blast with Clint at Jennifer's wedding, that I can't wait to go to his and Stephany's. Congratulations, to the both of you.

Wine

We belong to the Tobin James Wine Club. I have been a member of a few clubs over the years, and Tobin is one of the best values for the price of the wine club. We had this RRV Zinfadel bottle a few weeks ago and man was it good. This was one of the bottle from the club and I would buy it again. So if your ever at Tobin James, you might want to try this one.

Spring Time

I got a new camera this weekend, so what better pictures to take, then my DH doing things around the house. We had two old planters that DH thought would make great benches.
So the first thing he did was fit the boards to the top of the planter boxes.
Then he put the material on that I picked. I didn't like it as much as I thought, but it will do for now. I want something a little brighter.
I think he did a really good job. I have to come up with more things he can do, so I can take more pictures.

March Birthday's

Not that I forgot about their birthday's, just didn't get these great pictures scanned.

Jennifer - Birthday March 15

These two pictures just show how sweet and crazy Jennifer can be. Always the life of the party and someone that everyone wants to be around. I'm so glad that we have gotten closer these last couple of years. I can't wait to spend more time together.
From the Oldest Juicy Girl, Happy Belated Birthday!

Lisa -March 4

Lisa is my favorite Sister-In-Law, my wine drinking buddy and the person that got me hooked on blogging. She has reinforced how much family means and how important it is to keep close to the ones you love. I feel with her in our family, it has only become closer. She is a saint, who else could put up with my brother. Happy Birthday.

Your Fabulous!

I made a couple of these cards for some special birthday's in March. I love this SU Bubble Queen stamp set. I used diamond glaze with clear glitter for the bubbles. Hopefully this will get me in the mood to make more cards.

Renaissance Faire

A few years ago we went to the Renaissance Faire at Casa De Fuita and had a great time. I was surprise how much the boys enjoyed it. We went with another family and their girls had a great time dressing up in the costumes. I said after going there I wanted my own dress, may next year.

Ryan and Tyler getting heckled by performers.

Tyler did really well at the games. I think for him winning against Ryan was the best thing.

Easter

With Easter just around the corner, I decided to do some decorating. I haven't done this for years. But with a new Grandson in the family, I thought I better start doing it again. It didn't matter that he is only 5 months old. Better to start when he is young. I think my kids enjoyed it when they were younger, now they just think it's a lot of junk round the house and more work for them to put away. I make them go to the attic and bring down the boxes. I just hope they all have great memories when there my age of Easter and remember all the little extras around the house.

One of my favorite Easter decorations is this bunny that my Aunt Weese made, with help from Uncle Rick. We always forget to give him credit for cutting the wood. Homemade decorations are the ones to treasure the most.

Matthew

Jennifer, Mike and Matthew came by today for a visit. Matthew is getting so big. His personality is coming out more every time he comes to visit. With his cute smile and those eyes, he already has us wrapped around his little finger. And then when he started to make motor noises when we were watching NASCAR, we knew we were in trouble. We are going to have to pick a driver for him. Any suggestion on who it should be?

Baby Shower

I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow and remembered one of my friends baby shower ideas. She said, when she takes a gift to a baby shower, she always puts the items into a hat box or a basket, so they can use it later. I thought that was a cute idea. So, I was at Home Goods and found this 'Bath' box and filled it with a 'duck' baby towel, wash clothes, shampoo, powder, Q-Tips, baby sleeper and a rubber ducky. And then made a card out of stickers that I bought. It was really fun trying to come up with something new and different.

San Francisco

Wordless Wednesday was a picture from Ryan and his friend Benjie's first road trip. It's kind of funny when I think of San Francisco, I think of Union Square, Golden Gate Bridge or Fisherman's Wharf, but Ryan and Benjie thought of Haight Ashbury. Benjie took his guitar so he could play with a musician's on the street corner. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities and in the eyes of two young guys, I saw it in a different way.

Wine

What makes this bottle of wine so special? My friend Kathy gave me 1 case (yes, I said one case) for helping her take care of some things at her house and for being there when she needed someone to help her. Hopefully, I didn't do to much damage. We opened the first bottle of wine last night. I'm not good at saying if this was a fruity or peppery, but I can say that this was a nice bottle to open up when I had a long day at work and wanted to sit and have a relaxing glass of wine. But what I will enjoy the most, is when I do open up a bottle, I will be thinking about my friend Kathy.

Cards

I finally got my first card done to add to my blog. I enjoy stamping and scrapbooking. I just don't make time for either. I was hoping that setting up a blog would help me to get back into doing it. So here is the first of hopefully many.

Moving On Up!

Jennifer and her family have arrived back to the Central Valley. We went to help them unload the U-Haul today, that went really quick. They have a little painting and cleaning to do, but I think once everything is in place they will enjoy there house. They are just so happy there are no stairs. I think what the best thing is, they are only about 15-20 minutes from our house. Here are a few pictures of the move. Of course there is always time for Jennifer to pose!
